Apple's Tim Cook on deal with Facebook: "Stay Tuned"

  • Apple CEO Tim Cook has stated that they have a very solid relationship with Facebook and they can do more with them.
Considering the direct integration of Twitter with Apple, consumers worldwide are wondering if at all Apple will ever work out a deal with Facebook, allowing them to directly integrate the social network in iOS just like Twitter.

It seems that the deal might not be off the table after all. Apple CEO Tim Cook, who spoke at AllthingsD D10 yesterday, stated that they have a very solid relationship with Facebook and they can do more with them.

"We want to provide customers simple and elegant ways to do the things that they want to do and Facebook has millions of customers and so anybody that has an iPhone and iPad, we want to have them the best experience with Facebook on those platforms," Cook remarked at D10.

"Just stay tuned on this one (Deal with Facebook)," he added.
