Indian handset maker Karbonn has announced the launch of two new tablets in its portfolio. Part of Karbonn Smart series, these tablets will join company's Jelly Bean tablet Smart Tab 1.

Dubbed as Smart Tab 3 Blade and Smart Tab 9 Marvel, the tablets have been priced at Rs. 5,990 and Rs. 7,990 respectively.

"After creating an unprecedented buzz in the network device market by bringing in technologically advanced and feature rich product range for the masses with a vision to Massify Technology, we at Karbonn Mobiles intend to engage the audience with our latest offering under the eco-system 'Karbonn Smart. We wish to offer our consumers, technologically advanced networked devices encapsulating an avant-garde gamut of tablets and smartphone range," said Shashin Devsare, Executive Director, Karbonn Mobiles on Friday.

Karbonn Smart Tab 3 features Android 4.0, 1.2GHz processor, 7.1-inch display, and 2600 mAh battery. The tablet also comes with Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity via USB dongle.

On the other hand, Karbonn Smart Tab 9 comes with Android 4.0, 9-inch display, 1.2GHz processor, and 4000 mAh battery. It also features Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity via USB dongle.

Both the tablets will soon be available in the country.
