Aircel Launches 'Design Your Own Plan' for Postpaid, Prepaid Subscribers

Aircel on Monday launched its customisable postpaid and prepaid plans, under its 'Design your own plan' online service.

To design their own plans, Aircel says both postpaid and prepaid customers will need to log on to www.aircel.com, and choose between calling, texting and mobile Internet according to their needs, via the Plan Designer tool.

After users enter their choices, relevant plans are shared with them that they can then choose and confirm. Aircel says 'Design your own plan' customers also have the freedom to re-design the plan or add extra packs basis their need.

Anupam Vasudev, Chief Marketing Officer, Aircel, said, "Customers understand their communication needs and we would like to empower them with the freedom of choosing a plan on their choice. It is with this view, we are introducing an Industry First initiative - 'Design Your Own Plan' which helps customers to now design, tweak and choose their very own Prepaid Plan. Now there is a plan for everyone, whether it's a customer who loves to talk, or is a high SMS user, a social networking addict or even a traveller there's a plan which can be customized to suit the need. It will not only enable them with flexibility but also the freedom and convenience to manage their plans."

Aircel notes new customers can also activate these plans by filling-up and submitting the Aircel Customer Enrollment Form at the nearest Aircel store. Existing customers have the freedom of recharging value packs online or choose any a new plan by using the design tool.
