  • The new offer is only available to new postpaid customers
  • The free SIM card will be delivered to the customer's doorstep
  • The data can also be rolled over to next month with the plans

Airtel has announced its 'Bonus 30GB' offer to lure new postpaid customers to its network as the battle continues in the highly competitive telecom sector. As the name itself suggests, the new offer provides Airtel postpaid users with 30GB of free data over a span of three months, and the company says that with the new offer, customers will also get a free SIM that will be delivered to their doorstep. The data will be doled out in tranches of 10GB each month and will be offered with select plans only.

Coming to the plans, the new Airtel Bonus 30GB offer is available only with the Unlimited series postpaid plans, barring the Rs. 299 plan, as per the chart shown on the company's website. This means you can avail Bonus 30GB offer with plans offered at Rs. 499, Rs. 649, Rs. 799, and Rs. 1,199. Notably, users will also be allowed the option to carry over their data to the next month as part of this offer.

To recall, earlier this month, Airtel announced that it is offering its postpaid users up to 60GB of free Internet data if they install the company's Airtel TV application. Airtel is essentially offering 10GB of free data per month for six months, making it 60GB of overall free data to users who install its app.

In order to claim this 'Bonus 30GB' free data, Airtel postpaid users need to download and open the MyAirtel app, which now displays a new banner to claim free data.

Airtel didn't fail to mention at the time that the new offer was similar to its own Monsoon offer, which the company announced three months ago. However, under the Airtel Monsoon offer, the company offered 10GB free data to Airtel Postpaid customers for downloading the Airtel TV application for three months only.
