Spice Mobility Incorporates Unit to Engage in Telecom Devices

Telecom company Spice Mobility Ltd on Friday announced that its subsidiary Spice Online Retail has incorporated Hotspot Sales & Solutions Private Limited to engage in the business of telecom devices.

Consequently, Hotspot Sales & Solutions Private Limited has become a subsidiary of the company, Spice Mobility Ltd said in a statement.

Spice Online Retail is a leading online shopping portal for products such as electronics in India.

Spice Retail showcases latest smart phones, tablets, mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, accessories, memory cards and the latest in laptops.

Spice Retail began in 2005 as Hotspot. In 2009, Hotspot acquired Cellucom's India operations and the combined entity is known as Spice Retail Limited.

Spice Mobiles late last year launched its first device tagged with the international smartphone brand "Nexian" in India.

"Nexian products at pocket friendly prices. We are pleased to launch the internationally successful smartphone brand Nexian in India. Nexian combines high utility functions with a great aesthetic finish to deliver a memorable product experience," Amandeep Singh, CEO, Spice Mobiles said in a statement.
