Aaron Sorkin's biopic on Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, couple of days after being adopted by Universal Pictures, may reportedly now feature popular Hollywood actress Natalie Portman.

The actress is said to be in talks to join the cast. While Portman's role in the movie has not been fully revealed, Deadline, which first reported the piece, expects her to portray one of the major roles. In addition, screenwriter Sorkin was also quoted saying last week that Lisa Brennan's character will be the heroine of the movie, which may be played by the actress. She may even be playing the role of Steve Jobs' wife, Laurene Powell Jobs.

The Oscar-winning Natalie Portman has starred in movies like V for Vendetta, Black Swan, and Marvel's Thor movies. In addition, Jessica Chastain was also said to be under consideration for a part in the same movie, though as of now which role she would play was not revealed.

Reports until now mention Michael Fassbender will enact the role of Steve Jobs in the movie. Notably, Fassbender is the third actor in Hollywood to have been approached for the movie after Christian Bale and Leonardo DiCaprio, both of who declined for the role.

Reports have also suggested that Seth Rogen was roped in to play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.

It's worth noting that the upcoming biopic will be the second movie in recent times that will be based on Steve Jobs. The first named Jobs released last year and starred Ashton Kutcher. The upcoming movie will be based on the 2011 biography Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson and will be produced by Scott Rudin, Mark Gordon and Guymon Casady.
