Post its launch on March 22nd this year, the latest instalment in the Angry Birds series, Angry Birds Space has been downloaded 50 million times in a amere 35 days.
Game developer Rovio was quick to tweet their excitement about it saying that this makes Angry Birds Space the fastest growing mobile game ever. What's more is that the first free update has just been released making available 10 new levels for both iOS and Android.
Since its inception, the game has become a benchmark for all smartphone devices. Each instalment of the game has been received quite well by novice and amateur gamers alike. Rovio also mentioned that there is 'something even bigger' coming soon. Could it be the rumoured Angry Birds feature film?
