Business laptops prioritise providing essential features at an attractive price. Compared to their glitzy consumer counterparts, business laptops are built for business requirements, appear practical at best and these (at least in India) get as barebones as they possibly can. So, what happens when Asus builds a business laptop to Microsoft's CoPilot+ PC requirements? Can we truly have a device that satisfies the needs of small to medium businesses and corporates but also offers good performance? Asus' new ExpertBook P5 laptop sure seems like a worthy candidate.
Asus ExpertBook P5 (P5405) Summary
The Asus ExpertBook boasts numerous features for a work machine, adheres to Microsoft's Copilot+ standards, and includes a multitude of preinstalled AI tools.
The laptop does not have a metal chassis but goes with matte-finished aluminium panels, which give it a premium appearance while keeping its weight in check. It’s keyboard offers a backlight, is basic, and is good enough for daily home and office typing.
While its display may not surpass an OLED panel, it performs well. Colours are neutral, but don’t expect to do some serious graphics work on it, as they aren’t as accurate as higher-priced premium laptops.
Performance is not a problem as it comes equipped with the latest Intel processors that sip on battery life. This also means that the laptop can easily last a whole workday and even longer with regular usage.
