I love this product , No need to worry about this laptop , i had tested it for the last 1 week and few things i noticed are, Advantages Battery : 7 hours battery Super fast with 4 gb RAM SLIM ( no need to have CD drive ) HDMI and Card slot is perfect Front camera performance is average Disadvantage No VGA port No CD writer ( Now a days no use )

I Got this Laptop 10days back, and this was in abusolutly well packed completely sealed box.. who wants to planning to buy pls buy this its buddget laptop to the config they have provided, Drawbacks. * No DVD reader or wrighter *Need Bootable USB to install any windows/OS *No ethernet port * No light indication on power button to recognise that the laptop is ON or OFF. *and Mouse track pad feels unconfortable to use bcoz of click button is not separated. Good. * big screen *speed is good after installing windows 8.1 * Nice sound Quality *Thin and light weight and easy to carry *Look is good *Last but not least Battery back up is Awesome, one complete charge can watch 2 movies.

it is very fast due to 4gb ram intel hd graphichs is good to play games for eg: GTA SANANDREAS MODIFIED,GTA GADAR ,GTA SNOW ,CRICKET IT LOOKS GOOD AFTER INSTALLING WINDOWS 10 ITS GOOD PRODUCT AND HD CAMERA IS GOOD - SURESH

Its a great one for the price, there is no issue battery is good, display is ok but overall build quality fells good, performance is highly appreciated with 4GB ram Currently this models are not available at DELL stores Disadvantages NO DVD drive,VGA If you are looking for a basic computing for daily use with 15.6 inches display, go for it, best one. Very good, portable, lightweight, no DVD but one can get an external. Good for a professional. Hopefully sturdy. Easy controls.

I have purchased this laptop for my wife. Her usage is limited to Microsoft Office and web browsing only. This laptop has only one RAM slot so you cannot avail the benefit of dual channel RAM. I installed a G-Skill 8 GB RAM and it worked fine. I tried installing Samsung 750 Evo and 850 Evo SSD in this laptop but it was not compatible. Windows will copy all files during installation but then fail to boot. There was no such issue with INBUILT 500 gb Toshiba HDD. In everyday use this doesn't feel too slow now. I will try other SSD brands later to see if they work. This laptop comes with Ubuntu 14.04 pre-installed which is a good basic and free OS for casual home usage as people spend most of their time online only these days. However I installed Original Windows 10 home OEM on this laptop as my wife is more familiar with Windows. The lid has a texture due to which laptop will not slip from hands. Build quality is all plastic and this laptop is around 2 kg in weight due to which this will be sturdy when placed on a table. It comes with 2 USB 2.0 ports and 1 USB 3.0 ports and HDMI port. There is no VGA port but that is ok. Hardly anyone uses it now. The charger cable is long enough. Battery lasts around 6 to 7 hrs easily on "balanced" power profile. The screen has a resolution of 1376x768 which means it is not sharp enough. At 1376x768 a 11" or 12" laptop screen is very sharp. Still, the colours are good and for the price, the quality and sharpness is fine. Overall a very good purchase for the price.

Delivery Service is awesome. Product is good enough for net, daily use, study, movies, songs, display is very sharp and nice, sound in enough loud. I installed Windows through pen drive, every drives is in Dell site, you could get those from there easily. Battery back up is awesome, it is draining more when I am playing modern warfare 2 like games, it is general because the game is a high graphics game. If your budget is tight, you think of only studies, songs, movies, net and for light playing games you could surely go for this nice laptop. Last of all Lookssss is veryyyyy nice, ..... Thank you ..

My review of the Dell inspiron 3551 laptop. It?s a definitely must purchase laptop. Along with flipkart?s super-fast delivery service. I got my laptop delivered in under 9hrs U will just like it. Although it?s a 18990rs product but performance vice it can beat any 30000 40000 laptops any time. With windows 10 pro this thing just boots in under 4 seconds. Pros It has a n3540cpu released in 2015. It has uefi and secure boot which u won?t get in laptops at such low price. Disadvantages: I don?t find any disadvantage in this laptop. Yes, some ports are not there but they are not used now days. Another disadvantage that I found is that my warranty started 4 months in advance also the shipping date is 4 months before I don?t know why is this the case. I hope flipchart or dell sorts this out. Over all I think u should purchase this laptop.

Very nice product. It's fast and responsive. Touch pad is bit laggy but it may be due to lamination that i have. Screen is crisp. Am running Windows 7 64 bit, it runs very smooth at highest graphics. Windows performance index is 4.1 which is actually quite high. I got this for 16140�?� that was actually a steal price for this. If you r a normal to moderate user which most people are, jst go for this.

nice laptop. installing windows 7 was somewhat tricky but it ran quite good afterwards. It is a BASIC PURPOSE laptop. say for small office use or so, not good for gaming, but as it is quite cheap it serves the purpose I shall say value for money.

I bought this laptop for my father. It came with Ubuntu pre-installed, but I converted my Dell OEM Win 7 64-bit DVD into a bootable USB (check out Rufus software) to install original Windows 7 on this. After installation, I updated with Windows 7 SP1 64-bit. The required device drivers for Windows 7 are available in Dell website (Dell Website has only 64-bit OS drivers and NOT 32-bit drivers). Just enter the service tag number and download the drivers. The packaging came with McAfee Antivirus CD with 18 months subscription available for free. Pros: 1. Bootup time of 38 seconds. I found it hard to believe that a Pentium Quad core machine with conventional 5400 rpm HDD can boot up Windows 7 in 38 seconds. 2. 4GB RAM is always a plus. At least the system will be eligible for a Windows 10 upgrade (if required) 3. Enough space provided - 500 GB HDD. I prefer SSD over HDD, sadly 512 GB SSD is not affordable. Have to be content with conventional hard drive. 4. Slightly lightweight, as there is no DVD drive. Cons: 1. Mouse touch pad is not great. It is soft and clicky, but I will buy a wireless mouse and disable touchpad in the Dell touchpad settings. 2. 3 USB ports is kind of a let down for me (personally). I always like machines that come with 4 ports.

Good for simple usage. The only thing instead of ubuntu OS , if Windows 8.1 loaded , it will be fine and helpful . Ubuntu is not in general usage . Also while we installing other softwares & packages , ubuntu OS not supporting for that.

Speed is just fine no questions in this budget, if you want to compare the speed of this laptop install SSD and compare with any high end laptop you won't get any lag. battery backup is also supper you need to keep brightness around 25% to get backup of 6-8 hours. I am a hard-core programmer and I am satisfied with the quality, dell support service and flipkart as well.
