About Peranbu Movie (2019)

Amudhavan (Mammooty) works in Dubai, while his wife (Lizzie Antony) and daughter Pappa (Sadhana) — suffering from cerebral palsy — live in India.

One day out of the blue, his wife leaves the family, forcing him to come back to India and take care of his daughter who is dependent on others because of her motor disability.

Peranbu follows how Amudhavan tries to be a supportive father, especially as Pappa enters adolescence.

Meanwhile, social stigmas and discrimination keep adding to their already huge pile of challenges.

As the cruelty and indecency of society intensify, so does their bond.
