About Sherdil: The Pilibhit Saga Movie (2022)

Gangaram (Pankaj Tripathi) is the Sarpanch of Jhundao village. The governent has a scheme for the villagers — if someone is killed by a tiger while strolling or working in the fields, the government will give their family Rs. 10 lakh.

Gangaram decides to go to the forest and die at the hands of a tiger, risking his life for his family and villagers, so that they can get the money of that scheme.
