Before beginning with the steps you should take to connect Mi Smart Band to your phone, it is important to note that you need to keep Bluetooth enabled on your phone to wirelessly exchange data with Mi Smart Band.

  1. Download Mi Fit app from Google Play or Apple App Store — depending on which device you have.
  2. Open the Mi Fit app.
  3. Sign in to your existing Mi Fit account. Alternatively, you can create a new account on Mi Fit by tapping the Create an account now button on the app.
  4. Once done, you'll see a screen on the Mi Fit app that will ask you to select the device you want to pair. Tap Band there. You need to bring your Mi Smart Band closer to your phone for pairing.
  5. Now, the Mi Fit app will ask you to confirm the pair request on your Mi Smart Band.
  6. Tap the tick mark icon on your Mi Smart Band to confirm its pairing.

Once Mi Smart Band is connected to your phone, you'll need to allow the notification access from your phone's setting to receive real-time alerts on your wrist. You can also go to the Mi Fit app's settings menu to enable or disable features such as incoming call notifications and idle alerts.
