  If you want to know why this device is great:1) It look like macbook pro in design form of Huawei; it feels premium; the keyboard is excellent2) the battery life is very good3) the fingerprint sensor; and of course the touch screen is something special4) the delivery is on time ( but if you are out of USA like me, you will probably have few hours holding of the package in custom clearance process; for this you have to get connected to your e-mail to discuss with the person in charge in the custom).overall, this device is a medium between budget laptop + premium style. If you love design + money + peformance, this is the answer. You will save quite a lot of money for not buying more expensive....you know what I am talking which is expensive laptop in the market, right :)

• Quality all around machine

  Have been using the laptop for a couple of months now, and am very happy with the purchase. The laptop is solid, and does everything while maintaining an extremely small form factor. This is an excellent all-around machine that will do more than most users will need.The Good:The hardware is good- you can get these components in quite a few systems for less, but the rest of this device is what makes it worth the added money. The build quality overall is extremely good- just below that of apple devices, but miles ahead of most other laptops. The keyboard and trackpad are great- and the touch screen is actually really nice as well. I love the fingerprint reader built into the power button- it works extremely well and makes powerup/login fly by. USB-C charging is super convenient, fast, and the brick is very small. Battery life is excellent- I'm sure most users will be able to comfortably get more than a day of use between charges- I've gone multiple days of casual use without thinking about it.The Bad:There really isn't much to complain about. I have had very minor issues with the Intel graphics driver locking me out of screen brightness adjustments, but can't necessarily blame Huawei for that (the solution is to disable/re-enable intel integrated graphics if you run into this). The MX150 GPU is just okay as well- it definitely isn't what I would want for a dedicated gaming computer, but it's excellent for some casual gaming while I'm away from home.The Rest:I love USB-C charging- though I have not tested the laptop with other chargers very much yet... this has been the hardest area to find more specific information about the laptop. It is not a thunderbolt port, and is only USB 3.0 when it comes to data transfer (as shown in the device manager), but I can't find any specifics on PD compliance. I wish it had Thunderbolt 3, but didn't want it badly enough to jump up a couple hundred dollars for the Matebook X.Huawei made a great computer. The brand shouldn't scare you away either- Microsoft actually sells these at their own stores. There wasn't any bloat or pre-installed garbage. I'd gladly buy another Huawei laptop again in the future.

• Best laptop ever.

  I love this laptop. It's fast and so easy to use. Had absolutely no problem setting it up for my email which was a real problem with my old HP. I am so impressed. My granddaughter has an IMAC and she likes this better than hers. If you're looking for a great laptop, this is it!Update: Having a problem with it restarting on its own.. Says "Your PC has encountered a problem and has to restart" in the middle of whatever I'm doing. Called Huawei - no help. They want me to reset to factory settings and start over - what a pain. After that they may help. Not happy with customer service.

• "Can't connect to this Network"

  Very disappointed. I couldn't connect to my usual wifi. Something's wrong with it's network drive or something. Called amazon twice for tech solution and at the the end, both said I should get a refund. Huawei needs six sigma.
