• Worst service after sales under AMC

  Never go for IFB washing machine. I have already breaking my heads as the after sales service is the worst. I have taken AMC from them and the local agent appointed by IFB never responds in time. My washing machine is down for last 10 days and no response from IFB on spare parts. You need to be extremely careful as the local agent person will try to tell so many things if you raise a problem. They will advise you to buy descaling agents from IFB brand which is very costly as compared to similar products available in Amazon. Also, they will try their level best to change some spare parts in your machine by telling you to change the item else machine will not work. I have already paid several thousands of rupees towards AMC and buying spare parts from the local agent. Within AMC period, IFB has changed 3 to 4 times the local agent. This is not the end. Even if you raise a complaint, they hardly call you or respond to your concern. They will harass you like any thing on your service request. The local agent service people are also not qualified and they do not service properly. Even they do not come to your house for regular AMC visit. In one occasion, the service person refused to clean the w/m drum and didn?t give any service report despite my request. For the past 10 days, my w/m is down as the service board is to be replaced and the machine is under AMC. You will think that even if the board is covered under AMC, IFB will think as if it is a crime of giving the same to customer. Their only motive is to tell sweet words while selling their products, but after sales service and availability of spare parts is a real headache. I will never go for IFB products. If somebody wants to buy, then please check the comprehensive guarantee on the washing machine, and availability of spare parts for minimum of 10 years like other brands give on writing. Please refer and go through several You tube videos on buying tips for washing machine and comparison between them with pros/ cons.   No doubt on IFB washing machine it is best.Installation was on time and the service is good, one thing that I didn't like about the installation is the guys who came for installation will keep forcing the things to buy stand and other things which are unnecessary.Pros:1. Best wash2. Minimal watre requierment3. Less noise4. Elegent buttons and rotation nobCons:1. Installation service guys headache2. It takes little longer wash cycle (it is inhernent in all the front loading washing machine)A definite buy if you are looking at this price range.
