Flipkart's Big App Shopping Days Sale: Xiaomi Mi Pad, Samsung Galaxy S5, and More

Flipkart's Big App Shopping Days sale is here, nearly 3 months after the previous sale as the e-commerce store continues its big push from the Web to apps. Having already ditched its mobile website, Flipkart continues to push app-only sales like the 'Big App Shopping Days' in a bid to drive adoption of its apps, with the likely end-goal of moving to an app-only model as recently implemented by Myntra, a Flipkart-owned company.

The latest edition of Flipkart's Big App Shopping Days also marks the debut of OnePlus One smartphone on the e-commerce marketplace. The 64GB Sandstone Black OnePlus One will be available as part of Flipkart's Big App Shopping Days at Rs. 19,998 via the Flipkart apps, but as exception, also from the Flipkart website. Post the sale, the 64GB Sandstone Black OnePlus One will be available via Flipkart at Rs 21,999 and the 16GB Silk White variant will be available at Rs 18,999.

It's noteworthy that the OnePlus had been an Amazon exclusive since its launch in India. It's also worth pointing out to our readers that the global launch of the OnePlus One successor, the OnePlus 2, is imminent.

Another first for Flipkart during the Big App Shopping Days is the open sale of Mi Band, which was earlier available exclusively from Mi.com using the flash sale model.

Other deals in Flipkart's Big App Shopping Days include the Samsung Galaxy S5 at Rs. 22,999, the Xiaomi Mi Pad tablet at Rs. 10,999, Moto E (Gen. 2) at Rs. 5,999, Moto G (Gen. 2) at Rs. 9,999, and discounts on other popular phones like the Google Nexus 5, Xiaomi Mi 4, Xiaomi Mi 4i, amongst deals on other smartphones, tablets, other electronics, as well as other product categories. Do remember that the launch of third-generation Moto G is also around the corner.

Flipkart's latest Big App Shopping Days lasts until Wednesday (June 24). SBI credit and debit customers can avail an extra 10 percent discount during the sale.
