Highlights
  • The extra data can be rolled over to subsequent billing cycles
  • It is valid for Rs. 1,099 and Rs. 1,299 plans in Delhi-NCR circle
  • The plans also offer free 12-month subscription to Amazon Prime

The Airtel offer was originally scheduled to end on March 31, 2018

The Airtel Big Byte offer is getting an extension as the ISP looks to strengthen its game in the wake of an impending Jio Fiber launch. Previously valid till March 31, 2018, the complimentary Airtel data of 1000GB will now be valid for rollover up until October 31 this year. To recap, Airtel broadband plans worth Rs. 1,099 and Rs. 1,299 (excluding taxes) currently offer 1000GB bonus data to customers at activation in Delhi-NCR circle. Other areas might be subject to different tariff plans.

Launched initially for customers availing Airtel's DSL services on or after June 12 last year, the Big Byte offer has now been extended by the telecom operator from March 31 to October 31 with an aim to provide users with additional data benefits on top of their existing broadband plans. Unused Big Bytes data will be carried over each month till October 31, 2018 or till the data in the regular plan gets over, whichever is first. For instance, if an Airtel user gets 1000GB bonus data on top of the regular plan that, say, has 100GB data then the Big Byte offer's data will come into action only after the initial 100GB has been used. Otherwise, data will be rolled over up until the last date.

In the Delhi-NCR circle, the Big Bytes offer is valid on two plans. The Rs. 1,099 plan offers up to 100Mbps browsing speed subject to an FUP data limit of 250GB. The second plan, priced at Rs. 1,299, offers 350GB of data at up to 100Mbps. Both plans also offer one year free subscription to Amazon Prime, and unlimited local and STD calling. You can apply for any one of them by going to airtel.in, scrolling to the Broadband section under Buy, and selecting the plan that suits your needs. Once you enter your address details, Airtel will contact you to share if its V-Fiber plans are available in your area.
