Tata Docomo Introduces New Unlimited Postpaid Plans for Photon

Tata Docomo, the telecom brand of Tata Teleservices Limited (TTL), has announced new unlimited plans for postpaid customers across its entire Photon portfolio giving an easy access to Internet data plans.

The Tata Photon unlimited plans are valid on Photon Max Wi-Fi, Photon Max and Photon Plus product categories, with plans ranging from Rs. 650 up to Rs. 1,250.

The unlimited Tata Photon postpaid plans offer 3GB, 7GB, 20GB and 30GB of Internet data for Rs. 650, Rs. 750, Rs 1,000 and Rs. 1,250 respectively, at 9.8Mbps speed. Once the data limit is crossed, the users will be able to continue surfing the Internet at 153.6Kbps speed.

"These unified heavy data plans for Photon subscribers are the latest addition to our ever-expanding portfolio of differentiated and affordable offerings. We continue to deliver on our promise to provide value for money plans that suit the various needs of our customers. Such offers are an extension of our business philosophy to provide a refreshing and enriching experience to our customers," stated Ajit Chaturvedi, Mobility Business Unit Head, Delhi & Rajasthan, Tata Docomo in a statement.

Earlier this month, Tata Docomo announced an upgrade to the mobile Internet speed of its Photon Max Wi-Fi data cards in three cities - Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. The company also confirmed that it will be extending the upgraded data speed to eight other metro cities.

Tata Docomo also noted that it upgraded its network with the Rev. B Phase II technology providing data speeds of up to 9.8Mbps on the Photon Max Wi-Fi data cards, up from the 6.2Mbps presently available for the customers.
