Completely going crazy with hardware, Asus has announced two interesting laptop hybrids at Computex. While the first one Taichi is a dual-display Windows 8 laptop, the other one is company's detachable Windows 8 laptop Transformer Book.

Similar to other Windows 8 launches of the day, there is no clear time-schedule for actual market launch or the pricing.

Asus Taichi includes a double-sided IPS display with the outer display being touchscreen. With lid open, Taichi is like any other notebook in the market, however with lid closed, it becomes a multi-touch tablet with stylus support. It will come with 3rd gen Intel core processors, SSD storage, and Wi-Fi connectivity

On the other hand, Asus Transformer Book is a convertible notebook, which allows consumers to easily switch between a notebook and a tablet by simply detaching the display.

It will come with the latest Intel Core i7 processors, SSD and HDD storage, 4GB DDR3 dual channel RAM, and USB 3.0. The Transformer Book also sports dual cameras, with a HD front-facing camera and a 5MP rear-facing camera.
