Asus India launches two high-end laptops - N56VM and G75VW

  • Asus is betting big on the notebook market in India.
Asus India has announced the launch of two new laptops - N56VM and G75VW - in the country.  While the N56VM is an addition to the popular N Series of multimedia notebooks, Asus G75VW is a gaming notebook, which comes with a 17.3-inch screen.

Company has priced N56VM at Rs. 89,999 and it features a 15.6-inch Full HD LED-backlit display, powered by Intel Core i7-3610QM quad-core processor.

On the other hand, Asus G75VW is equipped with Full HD 3D Panel and runs on Intel Core i7-3610QM quad-core processor. It also comes with Nvidia GeForce GTX 670M (3GB DDR5) dedicated graphics, a whopping 16GB RAM, 1.3TB Hard Drive and Blu-ray Comb drive. The notebook will retail for Rs. 1,39,999.

Gaming Notebook Asus G75VW further redefines portable gaming." said Alex Huang, Managing Director, Systems Business Group, Asus India Pvt Ltd.

Asus expects that by the end of 2012, N56VM and G75VW will contribute to 10 percent of its total notebooks sales.
