Dell India launches two new desktops - XPS 8500 and Vostro 470

Dell India has added to its desktop lineup by unveiling the XPS 8500 and the Vostro 470 featuring Intel's latest Ivy Bridge processors.

The XPS 8500 is designed for users engaged in a lot of multimedia-oriented work like video editing, graphic designing, music composing and gaming as well. Users have the option to customise the desktop either with i5 or i7 Intel quad-core processor along with graphic cards options from AMD Radeon and NVIDIA, both with 1 GB of video-RAM.

The XPS 8500 also features USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0 with Wi-Fi card and Integrated 7.1 Surround Sound.

The Vostro 470 targets small and medium business segments, offering up to 2TB of storage and 12 GB of memory capacity along with expandability options. The Windows 7 desktop also provides extra security features that support services like Dell ProSupport and DataSafe Online Backup. The Vostro 470 also comes with USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Bluetooth 4.0 with Wi-Fi card and Integrated 7.1 Surround Sound.

The XPS 8500 is priced starting Rs. 53,000 while the Vostro 470 will be available for a starting price of Rs. 44,900. The desktops are now available for sale at the Dell India website.
