Inspiron 14R and 15R
The Inspiron 14R and 15R laptops cater to the daily computing needs of users featuring HD display, enhanced audio quality, an array of multimedia and connectivity options.
The 15R is available in Moon Silver, Fire Red and Peacock Blue colour lid options. Memory options vary from 2GB upto 8GB. Hard drive options range from 320GB to 1TB. The device comes with 3 USB 3.0 ports, an Ethernet port, HDMI out, VGA port, an 8-in-one media card reader and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
The Inspiron 14R, 15R and 17R Special Edition laptops are targeted at students and professionals who have enhanced needs. These laptops have a slim design and support full HD display. Users can also opt for Blu-Ray disc drives for an enhanced multimedia experience. The laptops come with backlit keyboards, USB 3.0 and feature Intel Rapid Start and Smart Response technology for faster boot up and sleep resume times. These are available with AMD and Nvidia graphics options.
Inspiron 15R Special Edition
The machine has a stealth black aluminium chassis and weighs starting at 2.78kgs. Users have the option of a backlit keyboard and hard drive option from 500GB to 1TB. Display options include WLED and full HD WLED supporting resolutions upto 1366x768 pixels.
Inspiron 17R Special Edition
The laptop has an aluminium display back with a textured honeycomb design palm rest. It comes in Red Silver and Peacock Blue colours. The device also has 3 quick launch keys to access Windows Mobility Center, Dell Audio and Dell Instant Launch. Hard drive options are available upto 2TB with an optional 32GB Solid State Drive.
Inspiron 14z
With 21mm at its thickest, the Inspiron 14z is Dell's first ultrabook in the Inspiron series with an ultra-portable design. The device weighs starting at 1.87 kgs and promises up to 7 hours of battery life. It is available in Moon Silver and Fire Red colour options. RAM option range from 2GB upto 8GB while hard disk options include 500GB with 32GB mSATA and SSD options upto 128GB. The Inspiron 14z has a standard WLED display supporting high definition with 1366x768 pixel resolution.
Pricing and availability
While the Inspiron R and Inspiron R Special Edition laptops are available on the Dell India website starting today, the Inspiron 14z will be made available soon.
