Sandisk on Wednesday launched two products in the Indian market - the SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive and SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 drive.

The SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive is available immediately in 16GB to 64GB capacities, priced from Rs. 1,199 to Rs. 3,800. The SanDisk Extreme PRO USB 3.0 drive is also available immediately in a 128GB capacity, and is priced at Rs. 16,388.

SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive is essentially a USB flash drive featuring both a Micro-USB and a USB 2.0 connector in a compact form. The flash drive is designed for Android smartphone and tablet users for storing content such as photos and videos directly from their device to the storage available on SanDisk Ultra Dual USB Drive.

The Ultra Dual USB Drive claims to eliminate an added connection required for transferring files, but it does need the devices to support USB on-the-go (OTG) for the access.

Additionally the flash drive requires the SanDisk Memory Zone app which can be downloaded from the Google Play store. The app basically lets you view and organize files stored on internal and external storage.
