Airtel and Aircel start iPhone 4 pre-orders

Your wait for the Apple iPhone 4 is close to being over. Earlier in the month Aircel and Airtel had announced that they will soon be launching the much-wanted Apple device in India soon.

True to their word, both the service providers are accepting pre-orders on their websites. Customers can now enter their details on the respective websites of Airtel and Aircel to be informed about the launch dates of the iPhone 4.

No data plans or exact launch dates have been announced.

Also, there is some speculation that the service providers may provide a reverse subsidy on these devices through which the customers may be given discounts for extended periods in the form of talk-time or data access charges.
