Airtel Offers Cashback Worth Rs. 1,500 on Select Samsung 4G Smartphones

Airtel on Thursday partnered with Samsung to announce cashback on select Samsung 4G smartphones in India. The offer entails a maximum cashback of Rs. 1,500 on the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017), Galaxy J5 Prime, Galaxy J7 Prime, and Galaxy J7 Pro. The offer will be available in India starting Sunday, January 7, 2018. The purchase can be made from any Samsung retailer and recharges can be done from any Airtel retailer. Vodafone on Thursday also launched a similar offer for other Samsung 4G smartphones.

As we mentioned, a new cashback offer has been announced under Airtel's 'Mera Pehla Smartphone' initiative. This offer entitles users to a maximum of Rs. 1,500 cashback on purchase of any of the above mentioned smartphones. The Rs. 1,500 cashback will be provided to the customers over a period of 24 months. Users who have completed recharges of over Rs. 2,500 in the first 12 months will be issued the first instalment of Rs. 300. The second instalment of Rs. 1,200 will be provided after the user completes a minimum recharge of Rs. 2,500 over the next 12 months. The cashback will be credited to the subscriber's Airtel Payments Bank account.

Airtel is also bundling the special Rs. 199 pack to users. This pack offers 1GB data per day, unlimited voice calls, and 100 SMSes per day to the user for a validity of 28 days.

With the Airtel cashback, the Samsung Galaxy J2 (2017) will be available at an effective price of Rs. 5,490, down from the Airtel-provided market operating price (MOP) of Rs. 6,990. The Galaxy J5 Prime will be available effectively for Rs. 10,490, down from it MOP of Rs. 11,990. Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime will have an effective price of Rs. 12,400, down from Rs. 13,900 and the Galaxy J7 Pro will be effectively priced at Rs. 18,400 (MOP Rs. 19,900).

Vodafone has launched similar offers for other Samsung smartphones such as the Galaxy J2 Pro, Galaxy J7 Nxt, and the Galaxy J7 Max. Vodafone is also providing a maximum of Rs. 1,500 cashback on availing their its packs for a period of 12 months and 24 months.
