Intex has launched its Aqua Lions 4G smartphone in India at Rs. 5,499. The smartphone is already listed on the company's site but the availability has not been disclosed by the company as of now. The smartphone will be made available in Champagne and Grey colours by the company. Intex is evidently looking to target the Indian Premier League (IPL) audience, with the phone featuring partial Gujarat Lions branding.

The dual-SIM Intex Aqua Lions 4G runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It sports a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display with a pixel density of 196ppi. The Intex Aqua Lions 4G is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM.

In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel camera, tagged with flash, and a 2-megapixel camera at front. The Intex Aqua Lions 4G houses 8GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 64GB). The smartphone comes with a 2000mAh battery which is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 350 hours of standby time.

In terms of connectivity options, the Intex Aqua Lions 4G comes with Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone measures 143.8x72x9.8mm and weighs 146.7 grams.

Earlier this month, Intex launched its three new smartphones in India - the Aqua 4.0, Aqua Crystal, and Aqua Supreme+. The smartphones have been priced at Rs. 4,199, Rs. 6,990, and Rs. 9,490 respectively. All three Intex smartphones are 4G VoLTE-enabled.
