A new budget smartphone from Lava, the Iris 456, has been listed at Indian ecommerce website, Flipkart, however the smartphone is now 'out of stock' at the online retailer. While there is no word on the availability of the device, the Iris 456 listing page provides a 'Notify Me' option for consumers.

The Lava Iris 456 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box and is a dual-SIM device with support for GSM+GSM. It comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854) IPS display. The Iris 456 is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz processor (unspecified chipset) with 512MB of RAM. It sports dual cameras - a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera with flash, and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The rear camera features smile detection, face detection, burst mode, HDR mode, vertical Panorama, and a BSI sensor.

The smartphone comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The Iris 456 includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, Micro-USB and 3G connectivity options. There is a 1650mAh battery backing the device. The smartphone comes with dimensions 134x66x10.45mm and weighs 147 grams.

Earlier this month, two of Lava's budget smartphones, the Lava Iris 352e and Iris 503, were listed at online retailers.

The phone packs a 1450mAh battery, and sports a 2-megapixel rear camera, apart from a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

On the other hand, the Lava Iris 503 was the successor to the Iris 502 launched in February this year. It supports dual-SIM (GSM+GSM) functionality and much like Iris 352e, runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

The Iris 503 features a 5-inch qHD (540x960) IPS display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor (unspecified chipset) along with 512MB of RAM. It sports a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with BSI sensor and LED flash. There is also a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera.
