LeEco on Wednesday announced its partnership with Reliance Jio for the 'Jio Welcome Offer', under which the Reliance Jio SIM card will be available to owners of smartphones made by the Chinese Internet and technology conglomerate. Of course the announcement seems little more than a formality, given anyone can now get a Reliance Jio SIM, provided they can get their hands on one.

LeEco's Le 2 and Le Max 2 users can enjoy VoLTE calls and experience high-definition voice-calling over Reliance Jio's LTE network. The users of first generation smartphones LeEco's Le 1s, Le 1s Eco and Le Max can download the Jio Join app to experience voice calls.

LeEco has been offering a great content bouquet to the Indian consumers and now with this association with Jio, we believe that our users will be able to fully unlock the potential of our Superphone and experience 4G like never before."

The users can experience Reliance Jio offers on any of the existing LeEco smartphones.

"With the current offer, users can watch all the premium content on their smartphones without worrying about their data bills till December 31. Post this, the users will have the option to choose a suitable plan by visiting the Reliance Jio website," the statement added.
