Our first look at the LG G7 and G7+ is here courtesy an alleged promotional poster from the horse's mouth itself, or so it seems. The poster was apparently spotted at LG's booth during MWC 2018 last month. With the phones shown in a refreshingly new Lime Green colour variant, the promo banner suggests a possible branding partnership with audio brand Bang & Olufsen. LG's next-gen flagship range is said to arrive in June 2018 with LG's ThinQ mods.

Update: The source now says the leaked poster is a fake, and fan-made.

LG G7, G7+ specifications

According to a leak spotted on SlashLeaks, both variants will come with the same specifications, albeit with differences in RAM and inbuilt storage. The leak does not come from an official source and must thus be taken with a pinch of salt. Both are said to sport a 6.1-inch FullVision MLCD+ with a 1440x3120 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The variants are expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 4GB RAM on the LG G7 and 6GB of RAM on the G7+. The LG G7 is expected to get 64GB inbuilt storage, and the G7+ 128GB.

In terms of camera specifications, both models will reportedly feature 16-megapixel dual rear cameras with an f/1.6 aperture. There is a 3000mAh battery under the hood. Other features include IP68 water and dust resistance rating, an iris scanner, and HDR10 support.

Previously, prices of LG's 2018 flagship smartphones were leaked. The LG G7 is said to be priced at KRW 899,800 (roughly Rs. 54,700) and the LG G7+ might sport a price tag of around KRW 1 million (roughly Rs. 60,700) in South Korea. This is a substantial hike over the pricing of the previous-gen LG G6 series.
