San Francisco's District Attorney, George Gascon has inadvertently revealed that the next two generations of iPhone have already been developed under the leadership of Steve Jobs. According to a report by The San Francisco Examiner that talks about mobile device thefts in San Francisco, Gascon met Apple's government liaison, Michael Foulkes, to discuss the matter.

Gascon said that the hour long discussion was 'underwhelming'.

"It was very underwhelming. He did most of the talking. It was incredible. He would just go on and on, one subject to the next. It was hard to follow. It was almost like someone who's been trained in the art of doing a lot of talking and saying nothing," said Gascon about his conversation with Foulkes.

Gascon added that Foulkes did touch on the long and laborious process of researching and producing a kill-switch for phones, and informed him that the next two generations of iPhone have already been developed and preceded Tim Cook.

Meanwhile, Apple has refused to comment on the matter as per the publication.

If true, this reaffirms the belief that Jobs and Apple work on several generations of iPhone ahead of time. Having said that it might not be necessary that Jobs would have been involved with all aspects of the phones, and it could be limited to the design and selected features.

The world is eagerly waiting for the next iteration of iPhone(s). A few days back, analyst Amit Daryanani of RBC Capital Markets had claimed that Apple is all set to launch the iPhone 5S and the much-rumoured cheaper iPhone in June or July.
