Nokia India has announced on its official Facebook page that PR 1.2 update is now available for Lumia 800 and 710 smartphones. Consumers will be able to upgrade their Lumia smartphones to the latest version via Zune PC app or going to the nearest Nokia Care centre.

The PR 1.2 update brings enhanced battery life, improved audio performance, fixes for self-reboots, freezes and call-ending. This update also fixes the question mark bug in place of battery capacity on the device.

To update your Lumia smartphone, you will have to install Zune, which can be downloaded from www.zune.net.  Before starting the update, make sure your phone has enough battery power. Then, use the compatible data cable to connect your phone to your computer, and open Zune.  Zune will then check for available updates, and show the latest PR 1.2 update as available. Follow the instructions displayed on your computer and your Lumia will be soon running on the latest software version.
