Just one day ahead of the official launch, Nokia's Windows 8 flagship devices, the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 have been put up for pre-orders with online retailer The Mobile Store. The Lumia 920 is priced at Rs. 39,999 and the Lumia 820 carries a price tag of Rs. 29,999.

Since these are preorder prices, they are subject to change once the company officially announces the devices. The site mentions it clearly saying, "The above price is only a pre-order price. Actual Price may vary. We will refund the difference upon confirmation of actual price."

Currently the retailing site lists the Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 in Red, White, Black and Yellow colour variants with availability listed from 18th January onwards. Nokia's official site still has a "Coming soon" tag on them.

The Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 are also listed on Flipkart as "Coming soon" with no pricing details available. Users can key in their Email Id to receive a notification regarding the devices's availability.

The Nokia Lumia 920 received 2.5 million pre-orders in the us and was completely sold out. Nokia has been offering Lumia 920 in US for $450 without any contract, which is $100 less than Samsung's flagship device, the Galaxy S III and $200 less than Apple's iPhone 5.

It was earlier rumoured that Nokia will be launching its Lumia 920 in India sometime in November 2012, but later pushed back the same to December. Nokia Lumia 920 first started shipping to markets like France and UK markets in October.

In more recent news, Nokia is already preparing a successor to the Lumia 920 codenamed 'Catwalk', which is expected to be thinner and lighter owing to an aluminium exterior. The Finnish handset manufacturer is also working on two new Lumia devices that will be a part of the new Lumia lineup to be revealed later this year.

Nokia introduced Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 at a special event in September 2012. Nokia Lumia 920 is a Windows 8 smartphone, which features a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD display. It is powered by dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 CPU with 1GB of RAM. It has 32 GB of internal storage, 8.7-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front shooter. Nokia Lumia 920 has a 2000mAh battery and supports wireless charging.

The Lumia 820 on the other hand is a mid-range smartphone. It features a 4.3-inch ClearBlack display and is powered by 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 dual-core processor. It comes with a 8-megapixel rear shooter and a VGA front camera. Nokia Lumia comes with 8GB of internal storage and runs on Windows 8.

Now with just one day to go, we'll hopefully know pricing and availability details of both these smartphones in the country.
