Xiaomi Redmi K20 and the Redmi K20 Pro have been launched in India. The two smartphones are affordable flagships with impressive hardware at an affordable price. Redmi K20 price in India and Redmi K20 Pro price in India is expected to be revealed soon. Both smartphones have similar hardware. The Redmi K20 Pro is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and the Redmi K20 has a Snapdragon 730 SoC. This is an entirely new series of Redmi phones, and perhaps an attempt by Xiaomi to break the Redmi brand's image as one of budget phones.

Xiaomi Redmi K20 specifications

The Redmi K20 has a 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a 91.9 percent screen-to-body ratio. The Redmi K20 is powered by a Snapdragon 730 SoC and up to 8GB of RAM along with up to 256GB storage. The smartphone features a pop-up selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the front and the back, and its display supports HDR. The Redmi K20 has a 4,000mAh battery and an 18W charge in the box. There's a triple rear camera setup at the back, with a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens.

The Redmi K20 price in India for the 6GB RAM, 64GB storage variant is Rs. 21,999. Redmi K20 price in India for the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage variant is Rs. 23,999. The Redmi K20 will be available on Flipkart from July 22 at 12pm.

Xiaomi Redmi K20 Pro specifications

The Redmi K20 Pro has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and an Adreno 640 GPU. It has up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage. It has a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x zoom. The Redmi K20 Pro supports 4K video recording at 60fps, and 960fps slow motion video recording. It has a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. The Redmi K20 Pro has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 at the front and back. It has a 4,000mAh battery and ships with an 18W fast charger in the box. The smartphone has a 6.39-inch AMOLED display and it has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It supports HDR, so you can enjoy HDR content on YouTube, Netflix, and even when gaming. It also features an always-on display. The smartphone runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie and supports a system-wide dark mode. The Redmi K20 Pro weighs 191g and has a USB Type-C port.

The company is launching the 27W Sonic Charger at Rs. 999. The Redmi K20 Pro will be available on Flipkart from July 22 at 12pm. Redmi K20 Pro special edition price in India is Rs. 4.8 lakhs.
