Samsung's projector phone Galaxy Beam up for pre-order at Rs. 29,900

Samsung India has started taking pre-orders for Samsung Galaxy Beam, also known as the "projector phone".

The Samsung Galaxy Beam, which we had previewed way back in March, is powered by a dual-core 1 GHz processor. It sports a 4.0" WVGA TFT screen and 5MP camera with Flash. It features 768MB RAM, 8 GB Internal storage, that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD slot. The phone runs on Android 2.3.

The most striking feature of the phone is the projector that can beam videos, photos and movies on a screen as big as 50 inches. No word from Samsung on when the phone will start shipping, but you can book one now for Rs. 29,900.
