Some new screenshots alleged to be from a prototype of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra aka Togari smartphone have surfaced online revealing the phone's specifications.

According to the leaked screenshots, the phone will sport a 6.21-inch screen with 1080x1824 pixels resolution. However, Xperia Blog which also posted the screenshots believes that it will come with a 6.4-inch display and the app used for checking the specifications, Quick System Info PRO, leaves out the navigation bar that houses the Android navigation controls.

The screenshots suggest that the phone is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) processor and will come with Adreno 330 graphics. The phone will have 2GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage. It runs Android 4.2.2.

This device is also expected to come with a 2700mAh or a 3000mAh battery. It is also known to come with the X-Reality Engine, which happens to be an upgrade to the Sony's mobile Bravia Engine 2. The Xperia Z Ultra is expected to feature an 8-megapixel camera and 2.2-megapixel front-facing camera. The known dimensions of the device are 179.2 x 92 x 6.5mm with a weight of 212g.

It's worth mentioning that the name of the device has been blurred in the screenshots, so it's difficult to confirm whether the specifications are actually of the Xperia Z Ultra.

The 6.44-inch rumoured phablet was earlier teased by Sony in a press invite for an event in Paris scheduled for July 4th at 09:30 a.m. The phablet has been rumoured to be water resistant but the teaser image hinted otherwise. The handwritten text with the stylus in the teaser image, however hinted at the presence of a stylus with the phablet.
