The Vivo X23 is all set to launch on September 6, and the Chinese company has already listed the device online for reservations. The latest leak informs that the Vivo X23 will sport a super wide-angle lens in its dual rear camera setup. The secondary camera will have a 13-megapixel 125 degrees super wide-angle lens, allowing consumers to capture more mise en scene. The Vivo X23 is the successor of the Vivo X21 launched earlier this year. Vivo, just like other OEMs, is following the new trend of a bi-annual refresh cycle.

A poster has been leaked on Weibo, and it suggests that the main camera of the Vivo X23 will sport a 12-megapixel sensor, while the secondary camera will sport a 13-megapixel 125-degrees super wide-angle sensor. This super wide-angle sensor will allow the user to capture more area in its frame, and this lens is ideal to photograph a large backdrop, view from the room images, and landscapes.

As mentioned, the Vivo X23 is already official in China, and all availability, pricing, and specification details are set to be announced on September 6. There is no word on launch timeline for international markets. To recall, the Vivo X21 was launched in India some months after its launch in China, and we can expect the same trend to be followed for the Vivo X23 as well.

As for design, the Vivo X23 is expected to sport a waterdrop-shaped display notch, similar to its cousin Oppo F9 Pro, and a vertical dual camera setup at the back. It is also set to come with a fourth generation in-display fingerprint scanner, and a 3D design for a premium gradient finish in varied colour options (mostly Purple and Blue). The Vivo X23 will have a screen to body ratio of 91.2 percent.

Previous leaks suggest that the Vivo X23 will come with advanced 3D face recognition, a 6.4-inch fullscreen display, and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 SoC paired with 8GB RAM. Additionally, the smartphone will feature "independent" audio DAC as well.
