I bought a "MSI GS73VR STEALTH PRO-060 17.3" 120Hz 5ms Ultra Thin and Light Gaming Laptop i7-7700HQ GTX 1070 8G MAX Q 16GB 256GB SSD + 2TB". I can say that this laptop is amazing. For the best performance only you need to update its drivers. It's light, powerful, fast and has additional slots for expansion: 16GB RAM and extra slot for add M.2 NVMe SSD (manufacture with two slots M.2 NVMe SSD in RAID). FIFA 2018 is incredible in this laptop, Autocad 2016 is faster, project 2016 is great. I read a lot of information a different laptop as Asus rog zephyrus, Acer Predator Triton 700 and Aorus X5 and Gigabyte 15x and other good brands, but I bought this MSI GS73VR STEALTH PRO-060 in 1799 USD. It was cheaper than other models.

Hing broke after just 1 year but other than that loved this laptop

Its hard to replace the parts or even clean the fans, cpu heat up like crazy and cooling is not enough.

The SquareTrade protection plan has been essential. One or the other hinge (or both!) has broken every 3 - 6 months since I purchased this computer in early 2018, causing me to be without it for a week at a time for repairs. I rarely take it out of the house (pre-COVID, only for the occasional coffee shop trip or vacation) and I certainly don't abuse it otherwise. The hinges just don't seem designed to support the weight of the screen.I really wish this weren't the case, because I enjoy almost everything else about this computer. The specs are great, no heating issues, and it's a slim, large-screen design at a reasonable price. But nearly unusable with the fatal hinge flaw.

Speakers are terrible and the screen resolution is terrible very pixelated for some odd reason.I ended up returning the Asus ROG 703v SCRAR i had since it was a GTX1060 but I would highly recommend that over this. Other than a possible better battery life I cannot justify the extra money :{.Newly updated March 13Already having issues with the GPU, fans, charging port and now my left hinge has popped off for the LCD screen... This was absolutely a mistake that cost me $2k. Save your money

This is not a laptop that can handle a gamer. The hinge that holds the body together broke in less than a year. Not an area that should have taken a short cut in.

Hinges are tiny for how heavy the screen is. I havent had this for a year yet, and both hinges have snapped completely.

Don't get me wrong, it's a nice machine. It runs games/etc very well. BUT. And this is a HUGE BUT - It WILL start to have issues only a few months after purchasing. I've had many problems with my internal fan just completely messing up. The exterior material isn't sturdy enough to protect the fans, so simply leaning your hands on the laptop while typing can damage them. MSI will replace them under warranty - BUT - you have to send your laptop away for that to happen. (just google "msi laptop fan noise") For some people, this is okay, but I use my laptop for work 24/7 and cannot afford a 7 - 30 day turnaround. Now, the laptop is starting to mess up in other areas. When waking it up from sleep, it will have a GFX card error and I then need to force it off/back on to re-boot. It's a real shame, because it's a very powerful laptop. I advise you buy something more sturdy.EDIT: Now the Hinges are completely broken, so I can no longer open/close the machine. It stays open on my desk like a desktop. Terrible.
