• Beware of Onida ACs. - buy at your own risk and volition

  Best product with worst supply chain management and grievance redressal. A company which has gone from neighbours envu to neighbours mockery.I bought after due research from bijlibachao.in and most other website to zero in Onida 5star AC. After 1 year I moved and I asked for relocation. Onida Authorised Service center staff came and sent me away in guise of fetching a drinking water. I caught him.leaking gas from the compressor on purpose. The explanation was ' cleaning the could with compressor AC'. I complaint to Agra Authorised service center and they reassured me. As expected after 15 days the AC became a hot fan. I approached the CEO of AC division Mr Asim at Mumbai. He articulated couple of phone calls and visits by so called a different regional manager. And what happened they put me a bill of 3000/- for renewed gas. Over the top it it the Agra Service Centered shamelessly denied that they ever services my AC.Unless your AC service center is your known and confidante, stay off from Onidas as they operate like a government office.Most ACs have similar technologies so choose one whose service is excellent or simply spend few more buck and go for Sansui (at deals )or Mitsubishi or wait for Chinese Solar ACs
