Twitter introduces 'no replies' feature for verified accounts

Going through a member's tweets on their profile page has been a tedious task for most Twitter users. Tweeple usually end up having back-and-forth exchanges with users they follow. Twitter seems to have recognised this fact and that's why it introduced a new feature that allows followers to decide whether or not to see a user's conversations.

The feature is currently applicable to verified accounts, which mostly includes famous celebrities, athletes and brands. Users can now click on an 'All' button located above their Twitter feed or on 'No replies' that will display original tweets only. For the feature to work, the users will have to follow the account author as well as the person engaged in a conversation with them.

Announcing via a company blog post, Michael Sippey, Director, Product Team said, "This simplified profile, which we're rolling out to verified accounts over the coming weeks, makes it easier to understand what kind of content the user shares on Twitter, and what Tweets you'll see if you follow them. And you can also continue to discover great moments on Twitter like when @MollyRingwald and @SalmanRushdie discussed following one another on Twitter."

We're hoping that the micro blogging site will roll out the feature to its mobile client as well.
