Twitter has started providing users with a weekly round-up of the most relevant tweets and stories shared by people they follow on the microblogging site.

The announcement came via a post on the company's official blog stating that this new email digest will roll out to everyone over the next few weeks.

This weekly digest will include the news stories and tweets listed in a style similar to the Discover tab on Twitter.

Users can read the full articles by clicking on the story headline. They can also tweet the story directly from their inbox. This feature also shows you interesting tweets retweeted by those you follow.
