The Sony WF-C700N is the latest in the Japanese company's range of mid-range true wireless earphones, and goes up against much more eye-catching competition from brands such as Ntohing and OnePlus. The true wireless earphones have active noise cancellation, physical controls, and app support which offers various customisations for features such as the controls and the equaliser settings. The earphones have a warm, feel-good sound, but the lack of support for advanced Bluetooth codecs and the average battery life offered by the case hold the headset back a bit. Nonetheless, it may be worth it for the straightforward and reliable approach to performance.
