Earlier this month homegrown manufacturer
Karbonn announced two Android tablets as part of its current Smart series. Dubbed as the
Smart Tab 3 Blade and
Smart Tab 9 Marvel, both tablets are now available with online retailer Infibeam for reduced prices of Rs. 4,990 and Rs. 7,111 respectively.
The Karbonn Smart Tab 3 Blade, launched at a price of Rs. 5,990, sports a 7.1-inch capacitive 5 point multi touch display with 480x800 resolution. It runs on Android 4.0 and features a 1.3MP camera. It boasts video playback of upto 1080p.
The tablet is powered by a 1.2GHz processor with 512MB RAM. It comes with 1GB on-board storage along with 32GB of additional storage available via microSD card. The device features a 2800mAh battery that claims long hours of media usage and web browsing. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity via USB dongle.
On the other hand, the Karbonn Smart Tab 9 Marvel, launched for Rs. 7,990 comes with Android 4.0, 9-inch display, 1.2GHz processor, and 4000 mAh battery. It also features Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity via USB dongle.
The Smart Tab 3 Blade is available in Silver while the Smart Tab 9 Marvel features in White.
