Vodafone Unveils 5 New 'Super Plans' With Unlimited Calling, Data Benefits

Vodafone India on Friday unveiled five new prepaid Super Plans in Tamil Nadu, offering a combination of data, SMS, and unlimited local, STD, and national roaming calls. The new Super Plans are available to subscribers using 2G, 3G, or 4G handsets. Apart from the My Vodafone app, the new Super Plans are available to customers from Vodafone Stores, Mini stores, and multi brand retail outlets, the company said in a statement.

There are five new Vodafone Super Plans. Let us start with the Rs. 509 plan, which has a validity of 84 days, and offers unlimited local, STD, and national roaming calls, 1GB data per day, and 100 SMS per day. The Rs. 458 plan is identical, with a validity of 70 days. There is also a Rs. 347 plan, which has a validity of 28 days and apart from unlimited local, STD, and national roaming calls, offers 1.5GB data per day 25 paise per SMS (local or national).

The Rs. 199 is identical to the Rs. 347 plan, except it offers 1GB data per month rather than 1.5GB per day. Finally, comes the smallest pack - the Rs. 79 offering has a validity of 7 days, and offers unlimited local and STD calls, 500MB of data, and local and national SMS charged at 25 paise.

Speaking on the launch the new Vodafone Super Plans plans, S. Murali, Business Head - Tamil Nadu, Vodafone India said, "At Vodafone, everything we do is with a 'Customer First' policy. Each Vodafone Super Plan has been structured to provide the finest value to specific customer requirements. Whatever the preference, Vodafone Super Plans have something for everyone..."
