The first trailer for the upcoming Steve Jobs biopic, called Steve Jobs, has just been released. The film, which was written by The Social Network writer Aaron Sorkin, has been directed by Slumdog Millionaire director Danny Boyle, and stars Michael Fassbender as the late Apple CEO.

The trailer itself is very short and says almost nothing about the film so far. There are just a couple of shots of Fassbender as Jobs, wearing the famous black turtleneck sweater that would come to define Jobs' image later in life.

We also briefly see Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, Jeff Daniels as John Sculley, and Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman.

In 2013, Ashton Kutcher also starred as Steve Jobs in the film Jobs. That film also had Josh Gad as Steve Wozniak, and stuck to the early years of Apple, and how the company came to be.

The real Steve Wozniak hadn't really had a lot of positive things to say about that movie, and in an interview, he talked about how the movie had gotten a lot of things wrong. He also said that Jobs inaccurately glorified Steve Jobs without giving credit to other people involved in the company's early days.

Wozniak is supposed to be a consultant on the upcoming Sorkin film, and if The Social Network is any indicator, then this film will also likely take a broader look at the man behind the myth, and create a more rounded character.

This movie has been going through a lot of ups and downs in the last one year of production - Leonardo DiCaprio had declined the role, and then Christian Bale was attached to the project. Later, he pulled out too, before the X-Men actor joined the cast.

The film also faced some troubles when Sony Pictures withdrew from the project, but then the rights went to Universal Pictures all in the space of one week.
