Over the years, Gameloft has earned itself a reputation of delivering high-quality racing games, mostly for mobile platforms. In a bid to bring a new racing experience to its players, the next game in the series, called Asphalt Xtreme, will let gamers race on off-road tracks. This game will be a spinoff ofthe company's earlier game Asphalt 8 and it will let the gamers race in different terrains.

Asphalt Xtreme will include locales like Thailand, Egypt, Svalbard, and the Gobi desert and consist of various vehicles like rugged SUVs, rally racers, and buggies that are suitable for such environments, reports The Next Web. At first look, the game seems to be highly inspired by the gameplay in the latest entry to the Forza Horizon series on consoles and PC.

The Asphalt 8 spinoff will be available for iOS, Android, and Windows. You can head to the game's website to pre-register for the game. When you pre-register for the game, you will get 15 tokens, with which you can buy cars and upgrades, a welcome box of cards, an exclusive decal, and the Predator X-18 Intimidator when the game launches.

Even though the game seems to be following the footsteps of Forza Horizon 3, it will be interesting to see if it is able to imitate the success of the latter, which has been appreciated by critics for its gameplay, off-road tracks, and wide range of car selection.
