Twitter for iPhone is getting a huge update pretty soon, reports 9to5Mac. Apparently, certain app update screens of the new Twitter client (version 4.3) have been leaked in the iOS6 beta version of the App store.

As per the leaked app update notes, Twitter for iPhone seems to bring along more interactive tweet experiences with content previews, images, and videos from "partner websites". Also, selected events will be promoted and curated by the microblogging site.

Other features include improved autocomplete and search options as well as push notifications for Tweets. iOS users will be able to tap user icons to go directly to that user's Twitter profile. The icon will also change to the new Twitter bird.

There's no official word on when the update will release.
