Great laptop, and got a good deal from Amazon. I'm not a serious gamer so this is good enough for what I need, I'm able to play Battlefront II just fine on it.

Bought this laptop for my 13yo son. Very powerful system. Temperature management was a concern, but under a heavy load, it has not been an issue this far.

Great budget gaming laptop. Good specs. In my opinion, quality build is pretty good for all the hardware provided. Only down side I noticed is that the heat pipes for GPU and CPU are connected. Cause of the limited space inside a laptop, I'm assuming its suppose to maximize the cooling efficiency. However, if I'm using a GPU intensive software, and I pull up a GPU and CPU monitor, CPU temp will match GPU temp even though there's no/hardly any load on the CPU. This, of course, will cause higher fan speed resulting in the loudness of the laptop.

I purchased this particular laptop because I like to play games and prefer the Asus brand. I didn't realize it had no disc drive when I bought it, but wasn't upset by this. I really like how lightweight the design is and how the keyboard lights up. Plus the graphics are really good.

I love everything about it.

The laptop is durable and is of great build. The fans are quite loud when running but they do help. A laptop fan would work wonders for this laptop.The graphic card is great and might need some tweaking based on games. Processor is very responsive and the SSD is fast

La uso para renders arquitectonicos y me ha funcionado muy bien, venía de un i3 y el cambio es bastante notable con su i7. Me gusta su sistema de ventilación y extracción de calor. Lo único, es que me habría gustado un puerto thunderbolt, pero por el precio están muy bien las especificaciones. Muy contenta con la marca Asus. En cuanto al envío, llegó en la fecha indicada y en excelente estado.

EXCELENTE RENDIMIENTO POTENTE Y LIGERA EN PESO TOTALMENTE GAMING

I bought this to play World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth and it is working great. No lag, able to use good settings, and the sound is good. I play with it plugged in, so I can't speak to battery life.

The battery lasts for around seven full hours of use! The mousepad isn't too good, and it's bulky, but I've never had it bug on me.

La verdad me parece una excelente laptop, hay muchas personas que se quejan por cosas mínimas pero en mi caso en una bala en velocidad y procesamiento. Por ejemplo, juego Ps4 remotamente y es excelente. De igual manera la uso para mi trabajo y no tengo problemas. 100% RECOMENDADO

I actually like this laptop a lot. I was in the IT industry for years and left it entirely a few years ago while simultaneously ignoring the tech advances that happened. So when I saw that a computer that was literally 10x more powerful than my previous for under $1000, I was very interested.I actually needed the power inside this computer for work-related tasking, but seeing as though it was 4x as powerful as the top-of-the-line machines when I cared about paying attention to them, I figured it'll be able to handle it and anything else.Turns out I was half-right. The machine is perfect for my work needs and as far as gaming goes, it does alright. I wasn't aware that 4gb vRAM wasn't very good by todays standards. I can play most things just fine (medium quality 1080p@60ghz) but most new demanding games aren't worth playing on it. Not going to lower review points for this, as everything else is solid. That being said, don't try playing games on battery. It'll die really quick.

The speed is amazing

I do a fair bit of pc gaming and travel a LOT. This thing handles everything I've thrown at it so far. Better than my of my buddies' full size rigs. Well worth the $750 I spent on prime day.

Very nice, get hot easily though

I've had it for about 5 months and I am a big fan of it, it does everything my desktop does almost as well. Honestly I have no large complaints

I need to say I paid $460 for this in July of 2019, the computer is a bit older 2017 and normally I would not buy old tech, I am moving and I don't want to take my desktop because it's bulky, Anyway I don't like laptops in general, and so I am not a target for something like this, however for the price I paid I can say it's a really good computer, I plan on buying a new desktop and sending this to my brother as a xmas present, so I don't plan on keeping it very long, but really I think it was worth the money just for the 3-4 months of use I will get out of it. For gaming I have been playing the Witcher 3 on high for 4-5 hour blocks and it has been doing great, gets a little hot and the fans get annoying but I am using a controller so the heat is not bothering me at all.

Great base platform with options to upgrade later. The beefy video card and substantial processor chew up games with ease. Has room for more RAM, which I added later. Also swapped out the slow-ish HDD with an SSD, and loading screens go by much more quickly.The only thing I would caution is that this thing gets hot on certain games, so I'd advise some sort of auxiliary cooler or at least a pad to keep the heat off the legs. It's amazing how they can cram all that horsepower into such a compact chassis and not melt anything.Have had this thing for over 18 months now, and it's as solid as the day I got it. Even spilled an entire glass of orange juice on it once. It shut itself off to protect itself. Let it dry out, vigorously cleaned the keyboard, and it got right back up. Great lappy.

4 stars for now, just received.Something is sluggish. It may be an update issue.But overall, I was impressed with speed of start up, backlit keyboard is perfect.Light and the screen seems huge for it to be a 15.I bought it solely to run auto Cad fusion 360.Program starts fast and has had no issues so far.
