FujiFilm India has announced the launch of FinePix SL300. Following the tradition of FujiFilm's popular S-series cameras, FinePix SL300 aims to offer "the image quality and versatility of a DSLR" combined with "the convenience and portability of a compact camera".

Fujifilm FinePix SL300 features a 14-megapixel CCD sensor with sensor-shift image stabilisation, a 30x optical zoom with a focal range of 24-720mm, 720p HD video at 30fps, a bright 3 inch 460k dot LCD screen, faster start-up, improved auto-focus speed and an upgraded response time.
