great product

We are a PC repair co and a customer needed a laptop really fast and Dell could not deliver one fast enough this one came next day for only $10.00 more, we love Dell so it was a no brainier, this has a back-lit keyboard and a warranty that was 14 mo instead of 12. Maybe not the newest processor but still fast enough for the average user. Will by this again if we need one fast.

No problems. Dells are good machines.

I got this for my wife because she wanted a machine exactly like mine minus the touchscreen. She has loved it since she's gotten it.The machine boots up quickly, quicker than her previous machine and is able to run multiple programs simultaneously. This was something her previous machine was unable to do. Some of her complaints are below:1) She was unable to watch videos for her class on YouTube while running Word2) She was unable to have a school meeting with Google Hangout running and PowerPoint3) The WiFi card was spotty and constantly dropping the connectionAll of those issues are non-existent in this machine. She continues to enjoy it and some of the pros she's brought to my attention are:1) The 10-key on the side is great2) Although a 17 inch screen, it does not feel like it's 6 pounds3) The screen is a lot sturdier and feels tight4) The battery gives 5 hours of work on a full charge

I love this laptop

I liked the slim look easy to set.

For the past 6 months it kicks me off the internet multiple times in 30 minutes. Have to do a network reset and even then it doesn't fix it. Had it looked at professionally, cleaned it up completely, worked ok for 2 days, back to internet issue. Thankfully I had an HP that I'm now using.

great laptop for the price. sadly I bought 2 of these for a client because they are advertised to come with windows 10 PRO (so I could put them on the domain). But they don't come with win10 pro. they come with win 10 home. false advertising.

I worked at Dell for years and always stood my their products but no more. Microsoft has decided to change Windows from an OS into a freaking APP that has to be upgraded "for your security'' apparently every week and every single time I upgrade it screws up my computer. I've done 4 restores in the last month and I won't ever buy another computer with Windows on it. I don't even think it's a Dell problem, apparently Bill Gates has lost his freaking mind.

This laptop did not even link up to the internet--do not buy, terrible.

Seller advertised this computer as coming with Windows 10 Pro, one of the main reasons I purchased. The product instead has only Windows 10 Home. An honest seller would provide a free update.

DO NOT BUY. This system was advertised as Windows 10 Pro but only came with Windows 10 Home. As others noted, when a hardware update was forced by Dell Bloatware, the system stopped working, completely locking up. We have since wiped the device and removed all of the Dell update software. Do not buy this machine.

If you are not familiar with the term "Bloatware", look it up. There is so much DELL BLOATWARE on this unit that it is 1. SLOW AS A DOG, 2. constantly interjecting & directing you to some other Dell purchase possibility "buy our Dell online backup, etc", & 3. is a very, very bad buy for anyone who knows anything at all about PCs. TERRIBLE PC FOR ANY BUSINESS OR FAMILY PURPOSE. Also, Dell Bloatware will not allow it's own removal. If you would like to buy what could have been some decent hardware that has been totally ruined by Bloatware, this is the unit for you. Not to mention the McAfee bloatware that is also installed on the unit! Don't ever accept units like this one - don't allow yourself, your family, friends or business associates to waste their valuable time with Dell Bloatware / Malware. As you might guess, my unit has been returned.
