About Grace and Frankie Season 2 TV Series

Robert (Martin Sheen) suffers a heart attack and is rushed to hospital. With a life-threatening surgery advised ahead, Robert convinces Sol (Sam Waterston) to marry him. Grace Hanson (Jane Fonda) and Frankie Bergstein (Lily Tomlin) are forced to help them. During all this, bitter memories come back for both Grace and Frankie.

To get out all the guilt and bitterness, Frankie convinces Grace to track down her former crush, Phil (Sam Elliott). The two newly-bonded best friends go out on a trip to find him. Soon after, Grace decides to reconnect with old friends, but that leads to a big life realisation.

Sol continues to lie to Robert, and one fine day, admits that he slept with Frankie. While Grace intervenes after Robert and Sol's big furious fight, a message from Phil startles Grace, and they end up meeting for lunch.

Frankie reveals to Grace that Babe (Estelle Parsons) has terminal cancer and she wants the two women to help her die at the party. After the death of Babe, gifts from departed Babe prompt Grace and Frankie to re-examine their lives.
