About Inventing Anna Web Series

A Russian scam artist Anna Sorokin poses as German heiress Anna Delvey and enters New York city’s social (and social media) scene, only to loot millions of dollars from her followers.

Sorokin/ Delvey’s (Julia Garner) story is covered by investigative journalist Jessica Pressler, Vivian in the show (Anna Clumsky), and published in a New York Magazine article — from which the show is inspired.

The first Netflix original series from Shonda Rhimes, following Bridgerton that was made by her banner Shondaland.
